The usual excitement surrounds the North London Derby, but it is Arsenal who look like they are on a roll leading up to this match.
Spurs have been so inconsistent lately, and it is hard to fathom out why they aren’t higher up the table, a team full of talent who are often a delight to watch but just can’t seem to get a win for love nor money.
The frustration felt by Ange Postecoglou after the 1 – 2 defeat at home to Newcastle was plain to see and he must be wondering how long it will be until the ruthless Daniel Levy gives him his marching orders.
Arsenal looked like they had turned a corner after their baron patch earlier on in the season. Еven though they suffered a small setback in their last match away to Brighton, where they could only manage a draw, they are looking a far better side than a few weeks ago.
Lying in second place in the Premier League table, they are in a good position to take advantage of any slip-ups by Liverpool, but as anyone with an interest in Premier League football will tell you, this is a North London Derby, and anything can happen, current form often goes out of the window.
Odds and Predictions
It is no surprise that the football betting sites have made Arsenal the clear favourites at 1.33 for this encounter. The odds for Tottenham are 7.50, and the draw is priced at 5.50.
We are not so sure that the bookies have taken into account that anything can happen in a North London Derby, and whilst it is unlikely that Tottenham will get three points from this match. We think it will be much closer than the odds would have you believe.
With that in mind, for the first one of our tips, we think that a draw is not a bad bet for the first of our tips, and a 2 – 2 scoreline at odds of 19.0 is definitely worth a small wager.
For those looking for more predictions on this match, we wouldn’t put you off placing a bet on the following Bet Builder.
‘Both Teams to Score – Yes’ and ‘Over 3 Goals’, odds of 2.30 are fair for this bet and gives an added interest to what will no doubt be a highly entertaining match.

Expected Line Ups
As expected, the return of Odegaard from injury has had a big impact on the Arsenal performances of late, it just goes to show what a hugely talented player he is.
Looking at this Arsenal line up, there doesn’t seem to be any weak link and that is taking into account that Bukayo Saka will be absent for several more weeks due to injury.
Tottenham are also looking strong, so it is a mystery why they are not gelling at the moment. We have been impressed with young Archie Gray, but he must be regarded as a player for the future as opposed to a player that can get Tottenham out of the poor run of form that they are in at the moment.
Arsenal (4-3-3): David Raya; R. Calafiori, Gabriel, W. Saliba, J. Timber; Declan Rice, M. Odegaard, Mikel Merino; G. Martinelli, L. Trossard, G. Jesus.
Tottenham Hotspur (4-2-3-1): F. Forster; Djed Spence, R. Dragusin, Archie Gray, Pedro Porro; Y. Bissouma, Pape Sarr; Son Heung-Min, D. Kulusevski, B. Johnson; D. Solanke.
How Will the Season Pan Out
Arsenal must have an eye on that top position in the Premier League, but at this point in time, they are six points behind Liverpool, and Liverpool have a game in hand.
Liverpool will have to slip up for Arsenal to narrow the gap, but who could have predicted Liverpool only managing a draw against Manchester United.
Anything can happen in this competition but we believe that Arsenal will have to settle for second place come the end of the season.
As for Spurs, a mid-table finish is looking likely. One thing is for sure, though, and that is if they don’t put a winning run together soon, it will surely be the end of Big Ange.
