We’re disappointed that these two teams are facing each other because we would have loved to see them make further progress in the competition and face the so-called ‘big guns’.
They have impressed us so much! Who would have thought Austria would have finished top of the group that included France and the Netherlands?
As for Turkey, only finishing second to an impressive Portugal on goal difference, it will be a shame to see one of these teams depart the competition this early.
Odds and Predictions
Looking at the bookie’s odds, we thought this match would have been priced up much closer as they have Austria as the 1.95 favourites, Turkey are 4.33 and the odds for the draw are 3.25.
This is probably one of the most difficult matches so far in the tournament to provide predictions for because these teams, in our opinion, are so evenly matched.
After much thought, we have decided to go for a draw at odds of 3.25 but not our usual 1 – 1 tips this time, instead, as both teams love to attack, the 2 – 2 draw is the first of our predictions at odds of 15.0.
Very generous odds so this is a bet that we are happy to recommend.
For the last of our tips, the advice is in the ‘Total Goals’ market and over 3.5.
Odds of 3.40 are acceptable as we feel there will be a few goals in this match.

Expected Line Ups
Austria has scored three goals in two of their Group D matches and as six different players have scored those goals, it would be fair to say that they possess a well-balanced and versatile attacking force, making it difficult for opponents to predict where the threat will come from.
Turkey are not shrinking violets in front of the goal either, hence the reason why we think that there will be a few goals in this match.
Austria (4-4-2): Heinz Lindner; Stefan Posch, David Alaba, Philipp Lienhart, Andreas Ulmer; Konrad Laimer, Xaver Schlager, Marcel Sabitzer, Christoph Baumgartner; Marko Arnautović, Sasa Kalajdžić.
Turkey (4-3-3): Mert Günok; Zeki Çelik, Merih Demiral, Caglar Söyüncü, Ridvan Yilmaz; Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Orkun Kökçü, İrfan Can Kahveci; Cengiz Ünder, Burak Yılmaz, Kerem Aktürkoğlu.
How Far Will These Teams Progress in the Tournament?
Both of these teams will be a match for any of the opponents left in the competition, and as we believe that this game will go into extra time, literally anything can happen.
If push comes to shove, though, for us, it is Denmark who will go through to the Quarter-finals of Euro24, and we also think that they will progress from there into the Semi-finals, if not the final on July 14th.
They really have been that impressive so far.
